Mr Arsène GAUTHEY decides to create his company at 2 rue de Paris in Autun. The Company works for industry and construction and will have up to ten companions.

1979

Mr Arsène GAUTHEY was then 65 years old and he took a well-deserved retirement. He can be proud of his work. The succession is ensured by his two sons Guy and Marc who become the new managers with the heavy task of continuing this great adventure. A year later, the company moved to “chaumottes” in better suited premises. It then had around twenty employees.

Creation of two distinct companies: Sté GAUTHEY ELECTRICITE specialized in general electricity which is headed by Mr Guy GAUTHEY, and Sté GAUTHEY AUTOMATISMES specialized in industrial electricity and automation which is led by Mr Marc GAUTHEY. In the years that followed, GAUTHEY AUTOMATISMES continued its development in various sectors of activity and took a very close interest in new technologies. A first business is carried out for export.

The 3rd generation arrives at the helm: The beautiful family story that began 50 years ago continues. After more than 40 years in the Company, including 30 years managing it, Mr Marc GAUTHEY hands over to his two sons Pascal and Julien.
